I really wish my parents would stop telling me how fat I am. Its really starting to piss me off, and always with “men like their women skinny, your too fat, no one wants a woman so fat”. It is so irritating.
And I can’t cook Thanksgiving dinner. I’m pissed off about that too. I have to work Wednesday, Thanksgiving Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I can’t fucking do that, I have finals. As much as they may wish otherwise, my life doesn’t revolve around work.
I’m just overall irritated with everything.
My father used to call me fat all the time. Then we had a huge fight, and I never spoke to him again.
Not saying you should do the same, but I don’t know. Don’t talk to them for a week. No one has the right to call you those things. Let them know that.
Hope everything works out. Good luck o/

I agree. You shouldn’t speak to them when they say things like that to you. They’re full of it. Wait until you move out of the house, then they’ll wish they didn’t say those things to you.

They lie to you. Not all men want their women skinny. I have been fat since I was about 23 and I have dated regularly. There may not be as many men coming up to you in bars and the like, but who wants that? Yuck. These men got to know me and realized they liked me for who I am. And my husband preferred larger women. Every woman he dated was over 200 lbs! We look a bit like Jack Sprat and his wife, but I don’t care.
The key isn’t dating a ton of men anyway, it is finding the right man for you. Thin or fat, he is out there
And tell your parents to screw off. Tell them that when THEY fix THEIR problems (whatever they may be, everyone has them) then you will fix ‘yours’ (at least, what they perceive as a problem)
I find most people who are anti fat have nothing more than being thin to offer the world anyway.
