Well, as you can imagine many things have happened since my last post. I will keep it short.
I had a crappy job at a call center and then got terminated for being sick because they didn’t have a sick policy. I got unemployment and they contested it because they didn’t have a sick policy so they shouldn’t pay me my wages I paid into. The TWC did not agree and I didn’t have to pay them my money back. Hooray!
I got hired as an I.T. contractor but they ran out of work the beginning of this month and let us all go. I am rehireable but they have nothing for me to do for six weeks. Lame.
My contract company is looking for a job for me still but I am also looking around. They might have found something, but I haven’t heard back yet. It is frustrating.
Dave and I have a dog now too. He is super adorable and called Pete.
