About the blogger

I live with my wonderful fiancé, Dave, up near Dallas, Texas. We have a kitty named Franklin, we adopted him from Texas Maine Coon Rescue. He is a character but me an’ Dave love him lots. We also have a dog, his name is Pete. We adopted Pete from the Hickory Creek Animal Shelter.

I like rocks, minerals, and studying how things were formed and how various things work.

I still would like a job in my degree, but I’m probably not going to get one.  Dave is getting his Masters in Chemistry and will probably be teaching at a community college soon.

    Omigod, you sound so mature for someone so young. Really enjoyed reading your blog. Very new to this & pretty clueless how to connect with other bloggers, any suggestions. HH
